Stephen Wharmby LL.B (Hons)

Stephen has over 25 years experience as a Solicitor having qualified in June 1980.

He is Head of the Family Law Department. He is a member of the Law Society's Children Panel (Adult Representation) and an Advanced Member of the Law Society Family Law Panel.

He is also a qualified Legal Services Commission Accredited Mediator.

Additionally he is a member of Resolution – First for Family Law (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and subscribes to its codes of practice.

Stephen also serves as a member of the Executive Committee responsible for the running of the Neath Port Talbot Contact Centre.

He is both past Secretary and past President of the Neath Port Talbot Law Society.

Away from work Stephen was Secretary of Aberavon Rugby Football Club for ten years and is still involved in the administration of the Club.
