Ian was admitted as a Solicitor in 1991 and has specialised in criminal law since that time. He is the firm’s Managing Partner.
He is a member of Stage 1 of the Law Society Criminal Litigation Accreditation scheme.
He is also a member of the Neath, Port Talbot and Bridgend Duty Solicitor schemes.
He sits as a member of the South Wales Regional Duty Solicitor Committee.
Additionally he is approved by the Legal Services Commission as a supervisor in Criminal Law and is a member of the Criminal Law Solicitors Association.
He is also a Full Professional Member of Solicitors for the Elderly.

Ian is also a Past President of the Neath Port Talbot Law Society
Away from the Law one of Ian’s interest is Rugby Union. Having commenced his career with Taibach RFC he then played first class rugby for a number of seasons for Aberavon RFC as well as Bridgend RFC, Maesteg RFC and Neath RFC. He also played representative rugby for Crawshays Welsh RFC, Welsh Academicals RFC, Glamorgan County RFC and Central Glamorgan RFC as well as enjoying touring Canada with Porthcawl RFC Veterans and Maesteg Quins RFC.
